Spring Showdown - April 24-26
Extraco Events Center - Waco, TX
Save the date!! We will have a derby, spectaculars and two full slates of horse show classes. We will offer fresh cattle herd practices Thursday. Sign ups are included on the show entry form. Additional practices may be available after the show is completed each day. Sign ups will be at the show office.
We have added Green Horse and Green Rider Classes! They will run Saturday and Sunday but we will place them in the schedule based on entries after they close. The earnings cap on both classes is $1000 respectively. The Green Horse will be judged as a fence class, the Green Rider as boxing. Both are on rerun cattle to keep the price a bit lower. There is a small jackpot in each class.
Please note: We had a LARGE jump in cattle prices after our fees were set. After the entry deadline, you will be held responsible for your cattle fees on scratches, no exceptions. After the draw, you will be responsible for all fees except for the NRCHA fee for scratched classes.
The Extraco Event Center has a negotiated rate at the hotels linked below. You will have to call to book. Let them know that you are attending an event at the Extraco Event Center. The options on the south side of town are closest to the venue.
PATTERNS: Derby - 3 Lope Toward, Horse Show #1 (Friday / Sunday) - 11 Lope Away, Horse Show #2 (Saturday) - 12.
